On Feb. 21, the girls varsity lacrosse team played a challenging game against Timber Creek in the first home game of the season.

In the first 25 minutes, Timber Creek scored goal after goal, ending the first half with 15 points.  But, the Lady Braves didn’t attain any points in the first half.

In the last half, junior Kiernan Mehan snuck the ball past the goalie.  Minutes later, sophomore Dora Muratovic shot the ball into the goal, getting closer to a comeback.

With six minutes left in the last half, Muratovic scored another goal as the stands went wild yelling her name.  When the timer on the scoreboard reached 1:30, Mehan made the final goal for the team.

The game ended 4-21.  The next game is Feb. 26, against West Orange at home.
