In a district game, the girls’ lacrosse team beat the Edgewater Eagles 11-10 in triple overtime.

Junior Kiernan Mehan scored the first goal. The girls chased each other by one point for the majority of the game. By halftime, they were tied 4-4.

Along with K. Mehan, sophomore Dora Muratoivc and senior Brennah Mehan scored goals in the first half.

The second half started out slow with no goals in the first 15 minutes. With 10 minutes left, the score was 5-5.

In the first overtime, K. Mehan tied the game 9-9. In double overtime, Muratovic tied the score again, making it 10-10.

With screaming fans in the stands and seconds left on the clock, B. Mehan scored the final goal in triple overtime, ending the game 11-10.

For their next game, the girls play Ocoee at home on April 1.
