On March 19, the flag football team beat Jones 32-14.

In the first quarter, the Lady Braves kept up on defense with flag pulls from senior Alexis Washington, sophomore Cassandra Ketchum and freshmen Emily Colvin and Amanda Oliver. Ketchum scored one receiving touchdown from senior Bailey Florin, ending the quarter with a lead of 6-0.

In the second quarter, the girls continued their lead. Ketchum intercepted the ball for a touchdown and scored another receiving touchdown. Sophomore Megan Gibson scored the extra point, making the score 19-0.

Jones scored their first touchdown in the third quarter and received the extra point. Ketchum scored another receiving touchdown, and Florin ran the ball to earn the extra point.

By the fourth quarter, the score was 26-7. Jones scored another touchdown with the extra point within the first two minutes of the quarter. Colvin ended the game with a receiving touchdown from Florin, 32-14.

The next game will be away on April 3 against West Orange at 7 p.m.
