On April 1, the girl’s lacrosse team defeated Ocoee High School 19-4.

Senior Brennah Mehan started the game with the first goal of the night, followed by a goal from sophomore Dora Muratovic. An assist by Muratovic allowed junior Kiernan Mehan to score.

K. Mehan scored three more times in the first half. A save by senior goalie Rachel Rector and goals by Muratovic, B. Mehan, junior Chase Granger and senior Jessica Kneeland gave the team an eight point lead before halftime.

K. Mehan and junior Katy Lindborg both scored twice in the second half. An assist and a goal by Brennah Mehan led the team to victory.

The win brought the team’s record to 8-4.

Their next game is 7:30 p.m. on April 2, at University High School.
