On April 4, the softball team traveled to Apopka High School for a regular season game.

It was a scoreless game until the bottom of the third inning when Apopka scored four runs making the score 0-4.

In the fifth inning, first at-bat Sarah Hayes, senior, hit a single with an Apopka error sending her to third base.  Next at-bat Sara Galvis, sophomore, sent Hayes home for Boone’s first run of the night.

Freshman Meghan Sexton had a run batted in sending senior Elizabeth Cargo home making the score 2-4 in the top of the sixth.

In the last inning, Cargo had an RBI sending Mary Catherine Dusing in for the third and final run of the night. The final score was 3-4.

The girls played at Timber Creek High School April 5 and lost 0-2.
