On Tuesday, Jan. 7, the girls soccer team (14-5) beat Dr. Phillips (6-8).

Through out the first half of the game, the score remained tied 0-0.

In the beginning of the second half, senior Sabdie Alvarado scored. With an assist by senior Rachel Bridewell, Alvarado scored the second goal, bringing the score to 2-0.

Freshman Natasha Merangoli scored the final goal of the night with an assist from junior Sarah Combs. The team kept up their game and defeated Dr. Phillips, 3-0.

The next game is home against Lake Brantley High School on Thursday. Jan. 9, at 7 p.m.  This is their senior night.
