On Wednesday, the boys swim team defeated Edgewater, 128-55.
The first event was the 200-medley relay. Sophomore Travis Stuart, sophomore Samuel Gentry-Mickelson, sophomore Andy Hoogvorst, and junior Alexander Glenn placed first (1:59:86).
The next event was the 200 freestyle. Glenn took first (2:08:35) and sophomore Patrick Egan took third (2:27:00). Freshman Jose Rodriguez swam the event in 2:43:53.
Michelson took first in the 200-individual medley (2:30:65), followed by junior Adrian Miranda (2:43:00).
After a short break, they continued to place first in all of the events. In the 100 breaststroke, they took first and second with junior Reed Bryan swimming in 1:14:77, and Hoogvorst a 1:20:15.
Glenn, junior Christian Assal, Miranda and Stuart finished the 400-freestyle relay placing first (4:03:45). The other relay team (sophomore Noah Hughes, junior Gregory Gilbert, Egan, and junior Cody Maitland) placed second (4:23:34).
The team will take on Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange tomorrow at 9 a.m.
