Half way through the first half Lake Highland scored two goals within a few minutes. One of the Highlanders’ offensive men was yellow carded and taken off the field.

Minutes later just before half time, junior Phillip Crowe scored bringing the game back up to a tie. At half time the score was still 2-2.

In the second half the Braves defense and offense stayed solid. Goalie Riley Bassett, junior, blocked three shots.

Half way into the second half Lake Highland scored another goal making the score 2-3. Nearing the end of the game the Braves had an open net and Crowe bumped in his second goal of the night. Moments later another Lake Highland player was yellow carded and taken off the field.

With a score of 3-3, the Braves tied Lake Highland bringing their record to 3-10-3.  On Jan. 15, the boys will travel to Lake Nona to take on the Lions.
