The Lady Braves varsity volleyball team took on Oak Ridge Wednesday, Sept. 16, concluding with the Braves’ ninth win of this season.
The Braves scored the first point of the first game with a kill and Oak Ridge struggled to keep up. They quickly beat Oak Ridge in the first game with a score of 25-4. Sophomore Erin Carter especially slammed the Pioneers throughout the match with her 27 kills.
In the second game, senior Jenna Schattauer scored a point for the Lady Braves giving them the lead, again, 6-2. The second game was over quickly with the Braves winning 25-9.
The Lady Braves ended the match by winning the first two games by a long-shot. The final score for the Braves was 3-0.
