The Lady Braves Girls Basketball Team began the game against the Winter Park Wildcats with senior Amanda Oliver scoring the first basket.

Winter Park retaliated with four baskets, then the Lady Braves brought it back and senior Madison Gonzalez made a 3-pointer, bringing the score to 9-11.

Junior Angeni Worley made a basket, 11-13, then a Wildcat passed the defense to score again. Worley ended the first quarter with a 3-pointer, 16-21.

The Wildcats spent the majority of the second quarter making baskets, and the Lady Braves fell behind, 16-41. The Lady Braves ended the second quarter with senior Amanda Oliver making two baskets, 20-46.

Oliver and Worley scored in the second quarter, but the Wildcats held their lead. The third quarter ended, 26-62.

To kick off the fourth quarter, senior Emily Colvin made a basket, then senior Shayla Barrow and sophomore Brittney Smith scored, 32-66.

To finish the fourth quarter, senior Sadie Desroches and Smith made foul shots, ending the game, 35-66.

Tonight, Jan. 19, the Lady Braves take on Apopka at Apopka, 7:30 p.m.
