On Friday, Mar. 11, the Lady Braves lacrosse team (6-5) hosted Timber Creek (6-7) and lost a tough game.

Early in the first half, Timber Creek scored the first goal. Shortly after, junior Emily Darr scored a goal with an assist from junior Madalyn Benton evening the score, 1-1. Benton quickly scored another goal bringing the team in the lead, 2-1.

Junior Morgan Chambers scored with five minutes left in the half bringing the Braves up, 3-1. Just before the half, sophomore Jessica Shutack scored leaving the Braves 4-5.

At the start of the second half, Shutack scored another goal with an assist from Darr bringing the score to 5-6.

Then Darr scored another goal for the Lady Braves making it a close 6-8. Senior Kaitlyn Driskell scored to make it 7-8.

With only two minutes left in the game, Benton scored making it 8-11.

After a final goal for the Wolves, the Lady Braves lost, 8-11.

Come out to Edgewater High School Monday, March 14, as the team takes on the Eagles at 6 p.m.
