The Lady Braves lacrosse team (2-2) played the Lake Nona lions (2-3) at home. Though the score was back and forth throughout the game, the Braves lost in overtime.

To start the game, senior Kara Gentry won the first draw for the Lady Braves. One minute in, senior Sydney Haseldon scored the first goal of the game, putting the Lady Braves in the lead, 1-0.

On defense, junior Payton Johnson blocked two goals attempted by the Lake Nona lions.

With five minutes left in the first half, the Lions caught up tying the game, 1-1.

Senior Mae Agcaoilli scored an eight meter shot, bringing the Lady Braves back in the lead 2-1. Keeping the lady Braves ahead, senior Amy Undieme scored with 2:50 left in the first half, 3-1. Gentry also scored a goal, helping the girls widen their lead, 4-1. However, the Lions scored on the Braves to end the first half, 4-2.

Beginning the second half, the Lions scored twice, tying the game.

Senior Avery Tyndall made an assist to sophomore Juliette Paymayesh and scored, putting the Lady Braves ahead again. The Lions came back and made two goals in the end of the second half, 5-6. With seven seconds left in the game, senior Madeline Bogan scored and tied the game, 6-6. 

The game went into a three minute overtime. The Lions scored and the Lady Braves lost 6-7.

The girls have a home game tomorrow against Timber Creek (3-0) at 7:30 p.m.
