McDonald’s released a spin on their classic McNuggets on Sept. 16 to add a little spice to their menu. In addition to the New Spicy McNuggets, so far this fall, McDonald’s released the Mighty hot Sauce, a Chips Ahoy McFulrry and the Travis Scott Meal.

The Spicy Chicken Nuggets originate overseas and were recently brought to the USA for a limited time. The nuggets are similar to the original McNuggets in texture. They are crispy, light, and immaculate tasting nuggets. However, while eating the New McNuggets one might find having a spicy aftertaste rather than the spice impact upon contact with the mouth. The spice is very mild and depending on one’s spicy level one might not even notice the spice at all. But if one’s spicy tolerance isn’t very good this is a great way to spice up a regular chicken nugget meal without burning the mouth or making one feel sick afterward. Overall the spicy chicken McNuggets are insanely good, flavorful and are a great upscale alternative to the regular McNuggets.

While McDonald’s has many sauces one might say that their new Mighty Hot Sauce is the best yet. It is one of the hottest, spiciest, and most flavorful hot sauces compared to any other fast food hot sauce on the market. It has a sweet and tangy, but spicy taste. If one isn’t good with spice it is not recommended to consume this hot sauce. Even if one has a good spice tolerance it can still be very spicy. This Mighty hot sauce will make one’s experience with the spicy McNuggets enhanced or one can also dip into the many items on the McDonald’s menu such as fries or a burger. It is a condiment that is extremely versatile and is a great way to add spice into your next McDonalds meal.

I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM The description for the new Chips Ahoy McFlurry on the McDonald’s menu. unfortunately, in real life, the McFlurry doesn’t look like the sample they displayed in this picture. photo/ McDonald’s

The new Chips Ahoy McFlurry is a great addition to McDonald’s McFlurry flavors.  The new McFlurry comes with little pieces of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies mixed in with soft-serve ice cream topped with melted caramel. The caramel adds a Sunday like felled to the McFlurry which enhances and upgrades the experience while eating a classic McFlurry. Although it doesn’t look the same as in commercials it still can satisfy any sweet tooth or craving for an almost upgraded like McFlurry.

The Travis Scott meal is a collaboration with artist Travis Scott. The meal became a trend on TikTok as people ordered the meal in the drive-thru playing Scott’s music or using hints for the cashier to guess what they wanted.

The Travis Scott meal comes with a burger that has ¼ a pud beef patty with bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onions mustard and ketchup. It also comes with a side of fries, a medium drink and BBQ dipping sauce. The burger is definitely flavorful with all of the condiments. The BBQ dipping sauce adds a smoky take to the burger. The bacon on the sandwich adds an additional flavor and meaty taste. While the burger is overall very delicious, the patty is too big for the bun causing excess patty to be left after the bun is gone. The leftover patty was not appetizing.

The cost of each of these items is very affordable. The Spicy Mcnuggets comes in the option of a six, 10, 20, and  40 piece set. The cost of a 6 piece set is $3.00. The Mighty hot sauce is free when ordering any item off the menu. The cost of a Chips Ahoy McFlurry comes in 2 sizes a regular and smaller snack size. The regular size is $2.70 while the snack size is $1.80. The Travis Scott meal is $6. All of these new items are very affordable and accessible especially for someone on the go.

In conclusion, the new Mcdonald’s menu items released are affordable, delicious, accessible, and can satisfy any McDonald’s craving. These new options add diversity and flavor to McDonald’s already extensive and classic menu. Although most of these items are limited edition, they are extremely worth keeping on the menu forever.
