On Thursday, Nov. 21 the girls soccer team (4-2) defeated Edgewater (2-2).
In the first half junior Kennedy Heath assissted freshman Lindsey Jackson for the first goal of the night. Soon after freshman Jewell Gentry-Mickelson assisted senior Rachel Bridewell on a second goal, bringing the score to 2-0.
Throughout the second half the girls struggled to perform. While junior Alexandra King made good saves throughout the night, the offense did not score again. The girls held the Eagles, ending the game 2-0.
The girls are back in action on Nov. 23 at 11:30 a.m. at Apopka (7-1-1).
