Sweet treat, sour service

Just Chillin would be the perfect frozen yogurt establishment to go to after school or on a hot summer day, but the workers sour attitude did not match the inviting store front.

Walking into Just Chillin frozen yogurt bar one is greeted by bright colors and a roomy atmosphere, but the same cannot be said about the employees who do not give a simple “hello” upon entering. They sit behind the counter and when you weigh the frozen yogurt before paying, they don’t even crack a smile.

Besides the horrific customer service, the frozen yogurt is delightful. The flavors range from Tahitian Vanilla to Chocolate Mint and even to New Orleans Praline. The frozen yogurt is sweet and chilly, and smooth and tasty, perfect for a sweettooth day.

Even though the frozen yogurt is scrumptious the toppings upon my visit were close to none. They may have a few toppings like  strawberries and sprinkles to satisfy ones tastebuds, but the unenthusiastic employees make no attempt to replenish them. At least a quarter of the toppings jars where empty.

Along with the pleasing frozen yogurt another satisfying aspect is the price. Just Chillin’s regular price is $0.44 per ounce, but on Wacky Wednesdays it is $0.34 per ounce, the perfect price for a high school student on a tight budget.

If customers can get past the poor service, Just Chillin can satisfy.  2 of 4 stars.
