After winning the swim off, the girls started the game strong. In the first quarter senior Cardinal Hastings and junior Abigail Smith scored goals. The quarter ended 2-0.
The girls kept their momentum in the second quarter with Hastings scoring another goal. Hastings, Smith and junior Grace McGee continued the streak until the Wolves scored their first goal. At the half the Lady Braves were up 5-1.
The girls regrouped and scored three more goals in a row. The Wolves scored their second goal before Hastings could score a another for the Braves.
The girls ended the game 15-4.
After the girls left the pool, sophomore Ethan Mortensen gave the boys possession of the ball and their first goal of the game. Seniors Andy Hoogvorst and Samuel Gentry-Mickelson scored and ended the first quarter 9-2
Winning the swim off, senior Ryan Paule started the second quarter with possession. At halftime the boys had the lead, 15-3.
After a fast paced game, the boys won 19-9.
The water polo teams will play Cypress Creek at home on Feb. 16.
