At the game on Tuesday, Dec. 4, the junior varsity boys basketball team took on West Orange in the Wayne Rickman Gymnasium. Starting  the game, junior Richard Wallace won the tip off allowing sophomore Donald Hill to score a layup. At the end of the first quarter, the Braves were in the lead 25-23.

During the second quarter, the opposing team pulled ahead but sophomore Cole Butler started the second half with the first point. After defensive blocks and offensive rebounds by both teams, the energy in the gym increased and the game was tied at the end of the third.

As the buzzer rang for the end of the fourth quarter, the score was tied 54-54. West Orange was fouled against and scored a free throw. The game ended  55-54 leaving the Braves defeated.

The team will play Lake Nona away on Dec. 7, at 6 p.m.
