The varsity soccer team faced Lake Mary and added another win to their record. The teams two main scorers, seniors Connor Wood and Juan Caceres, were not able to attend the game but the boys still managed a win without them.

Lake Mary made the first goal of the night. Shortly after the game started, junior Daniel Dewitz broke his arm trying to block a kick from the opponent.

As the second half started, junior Daniel Hurtado worked the offense and scored, making the score 3-1. Defensive players Stephen Brock and Alexander Blanca, juniors, prevented Lake Mary from scoring goals.

Junior Daniel Barr defended the goal, making saves and blocks. Barr played as a substitute goalie, preventing almost all of the attempted shots on goal.

Sophomore Jared Angle scored the last goal of the night kicking the ball in after a corner kick from a teammate.

The next game on Jan. 8 against Lake Highland.
