At Colonial lanes on Sept.17, the boys and girls varsity bowling team played  Colonial.

Starting the first game strong, sophomore Timothy Kaiser threw two strikes, and then a turkey.  Senior Erin Dudley also bowled a strike and then a spare. During this game freshman Alex Siew and senior Daniel Cabrera also bowled strikes.

At the end of the first game, Dudley finished with a total of 141, Kari Simmons with 99, and senior Maria Oquendo with 93.

For the second game, right off the bat on their first frames, Kaiser and Cabrera both got spares.

Siew, Dudely and Oquendo also got strikes during this game.

At the end of the second game, the boys were ahead by 164 pins, and the girls were down by 284 pins.

During the third game, senior Paul Perrault got a strike, and Oquendo got two spares and a strike. Simmons bowled two spares in a row.

Adding to their high score, Christian Rhea got a turkey in the third game. For the girls team, Dudley was the only player to bowl a turkey throughout the game.

The final score was 1686-2054 for the girls, and 2454-2174 for the boys.

The next game is 3 p.m. Sept. 19, at Colonial Lanes against Freedom.
