On Sept. 25, the girls swim team (2-2)  took on Lake Nona at home in their fifth meet of the season.

Freshmen Cardinal Hastings and Victoria Pratt, along with seniors Julia Hester and Elenor Clark swam the 200 medley relay earning a first place finish, 2:02.

Hester also placed first in the 200 individual medley, 2:38, and Clark placed first in the 50 free style, 26.39.

The girls lost their lead in the 100 butterfly where Clark placed second and Hastings placed third, but made a come back in the 200 free relay. Senior Amelia Cheatham, Clark, Pratt and Hester placed first, 1:49.

The team fell short when they placed second in the 400 free relay, making the final score 79-91. The girls, now 2-3, will take on Edgewater Oct. 2, at Wadeview at 3:30 p.m.
