At North Shore on Oct. 2, the boys golf team played in Districts.

Getting set on the holes, sophomore Nick Duffy putted 10 feet for a birdie on the first hole. Junior Joshua Maldonado bogeyed the second hole starting his game  to a great start. Junior Matthew Mills kept the team in line by hitting his drive right down the middle of the fairway on hole five.

The boys were slightly behind Timber Creek, trying to catch up to them.

Freshman Connor Eakins pared 17, and senior Kiah Nickerson makes a par on hole eight.

With Nick Duffy hitting his longest drive of the day on hole seven, it helped get the boys excited.  They caught up  to third place.

Connor Eakins was even par through six holes, on the front nine holes.

Keeping the score at a steady pace, Nick Duffy made four on hole eight and shots a 43 on the back holes.

The final score for the boys was 342 placing third in the tournament, ending with Connor Eakins shooting a 78.

The next match is Oct. 3, at Dubsdread against Bishop Moore at 3:30 p.m.
