Playing against University on Oct. 3, the Lady Braves won three of four sets.

In the first set, the girls gave their all. Featuring kills from Oakley Attaway and Jenna Layton they struggled to keep ahead of their opponent.  Along with points from Lindsey Perrin with a tip and Gretchen Chevelier with an ace. The Lady Braves fell short losing 18-25.

Struggling in the second set in the beginning, the girls made a comeback with more than three kills from Oakley Attaway and an ace from Taylor Kasper.  The girls brought the score to a close 24-24 and ended the second set in a tie.

Followed in the third set, Taylor Kasper started it off with a serve to the opponent. Increasing their score,  Chevelier swoops in with a kill bringing the score 9-3 followed by Chloe Fry making the end score 25-22.

Lastly, in the fourth set, Kaley Knapp helped contribute to the score with a kill, as well as Sarah Chapman with successful blocks playing defense. Final score for the fourth set was 21-19.

The next game will be on Oct. 4 at Lake Highland at 7 p.m.
