On Sept. 25, the boys swim team hosted the Lake Nona Lions at Wadeview Community Pool.

The meet started with the 200 Medley Relay. Seniors Israel Miller and Zane Grant swam the first two legs with sophomores Reed Bryan and Alexander Glenn finishing. They placed second, 1:56.13.

The only first place wins of the afternoon came from seniors Zane Grant and Joshua Rosenfeld.  Rosenfeld blew away his competition during the 500 freestyle race with a time of 5:44.46 and Grant took home the win in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:02.49

The last race of the afternoon was the 400 freestyle relay, swam by Joshua Rosenfeld, Tristan Sanders, Sam Gentry-Mickelson and Ryan Bogdan, which the boys placed second, 4:10.44. Coming up short, the boys lost the meet with a final score of 107-63. The boys now hold a 2-2 record.

Their next meet is on Oct. 2, against the Edgewater Eagles at Wadeview Community Pool at 3:30 p.m.
