On Oct. 9 the Lady Braves volleyball team played Oak Ridge in the Wayne Rickman Gymnasium.

The girls started out the first set with four aces in a row from junior Gretchen Chevalier. As well as kills from junior Oakley Attaway and senior Kaley Knapp. Sophomore Sarah Chapman also scored a point with a tip bringing the girls to 25-8, winning the first set.

In the second set, Chapman started the game with a point by blocking the ball, followed by kills from Oakley Attaway. Senior Taylor Kasper also scored a point with an ace in this set ending it 25-9 for another win.

Beginning the third set, the girls quickly racked up the points with kills from Knapp and sophomore Celeste Foster. The third set ended 25-10, with the Lady Braves winning 3-0.

The next game will be on Oct. 15 at Winter Park at 7 p.m.
