On the home court, the afternoon sun beat down as junior Mary Burkett set up for the first match against Hagerty.

The girls and boys tennis teams both slammed the Huskies ending in a shutout of 7-0 for each team.

Burkett won her match 8-0. Line one, sophomore Shaun Mealey won his match 8-0, along with sophomore Julia Bonnewitz.

Seniors Davis Coleman and Ronald Heinkel won their matches 8-2 and 8-1 respectively.

Junior Meghan Cotton struggled with her match but pulled the win out, 8-5.

Sophomores Ashlyn Gage, 8-0, and Nathan Fontaine, 8-1, junior Camden Parrish, 8-3, and freshman Nicholas Alfert, 8-1, won their matches.

All four doubles teams won their matches, bringing the final total score to 14-0.

It was a win for both boys (11-0) and girls (6-5).

The team will play Dr. Phillips on March 12 at home at 3:30 p.m.
