On Tuesday night, March 11, Lady Braves lacrosse (3-3) battled Timber Creek Wolves (2-1).

From the beginning, the Wolves were intense players,  scoring two goals within the first two minutes of the game. By halftime, senior Kaitlyn Wendling scored the only goal for Boone, going into the second half, 1-11.

Even though, Timber Creek continued to score, the girls put up a hard last fight. Freshman Emily Darr scored the second goal, then sophomore Lauren Rucker scored a goal.

In the remaining two minutes, both sophomore Kaitlyn Driskell and senior Kiernan Mehan scored goals.

Timber Creek defeated the Lady Braves, 5-16.

Check out the girls again on Friday, March 11, against West Orange at West Orange at 7:30 p.m.
