In their last home game of the regular season and the Brave’s Senior Night, the Braves (5-4) crush the Cypress Creek Bears (0-9) 62-0.

The first half of the first quarter stared uneventful.  Neither team gained more than 40 yards until junior Alexis Bergan ran the ball in for the first touchdown of the game, 7-0.  Not long afterwards, senior Adam Anderson ran the ball for a touchdown, bringing the score to 14-0. In the last four minutes of the first quarter, senior Kevin Doswell recovered a fumble and Anderson scored yet another touchdown in the proceeding play, bringing the score to 21-0. Feeling the need to tie Anderson’s touchdowns, Bergan caught a pass for a touchdown bringing the score to 28-0 ending the first quarter.

Much like the first quarter, the first half of the second quarter was uneventful. With seven minutes left in the quarter, senior Darnell Burton joined in on the action and scored a touchdown, bringing the score to 35-0. Just when Cypress Creek had a hope of scoring, senior Tommy Townsend made an interception. Junior Javon Richards then scored a touchdown, bringing the score to 41-0. Showing no mercy, sophomore Tyree Jones ran the ball in for yet another Boone touchdown, bringing the score to 48-0.

The third quarter flew by with no action whatsoever. But with only 35 seconds left, sophomore Brandon Bush pranced into the end zone, tallying another TD.  They ended the third 55-0.

With three minutes left in the fourth quarter, senior Jonathon Bedward scored the last touchdown of the game, ended with the Braves winning 62-0.

The next game is Thursday, Oct 30, away against Colonial, come out and support the Braves.
