Bowling took on Winter Park on Monday, Sept. 14, resulting in the boys’ third win.

The Braves started strong and kept the pace through all three games.

The boys started with junior Dezmond King rolling two strikes and a spare. Quickly after, freshman Jacob Hopper rolled a turkey, leaving the score 897-877 for the first game. The Lady Braves fell short on their first game, ending it 520-833.

Starting the second game off right, freshman Nolan Castor scored another turkey for the team. Hopper scored big again when he rolled six strikes in a row.  This left the boys in the lead by 162 pins.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Mierek led the Lady Braves with an individual score of 164, but the girls still fell short by 303 pins.

Castor and Mierek lead both the teams through the third games.

The boys ended the match 2808-2597 with a win, but the girls couldn’t close the gap with  1582-2289 to Winter Park.

Come out to support the Braves on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Colonial Lanes, against the Colonial Grenadiers.
