In the first home game of the season, the boys lacrosse team (1-0) took on the Seminole Seminoles (1-0) on Feb. 12.
In the first half, the teams were fighting for the first goal of the night. Junior Davis Pittenger, senior Palmer Collins, and senior Tanner Woods all scored one goal. Then, after an assist from sophomore Jack Reddeck, Pittenger scored again. The boys the end of the first half, 4-2.
The second half began with senior Luke Magley adding a goal to the scoreboard, making the score 5-4. Magley and Woods scored two goals in the last half.
The game ended 9-8.
The team’s next game is Friday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 at home. They will take on the Lake Nona Lions (0-1).
