On Sept. 17, the boys cross country team competed in the Hagerty Invitational, held at Seminole State College, in Oviedo, Florida.

Leading the boy’s team, senior Spenser Blake finished 17th (17:28.70) out of 166 runners.

Other top runners included seniors Jose Vasquez and Brandon McCoy who placed 39th (18:25.10) and 112th (20:22.70), respectively. Sophomore Jake Colvin placed 72nd (19:02.40) and junior Eric Tormanen placed 122nd (21:02.70).

Competing with seven runners, the team placed 15th out of 22, with an overall time of 1:36:21.60.

The boys are back in action at the West Orange Invitational, at West Orange High School, on Oct. 1.
