On Wednesday, Oct. 12, the bowling teams took on the Winter Park Wildcats at Colonial Lanes.

The teams played two 10-pin games and three Baker games against their opponents.

Kicking off the match, sophomore Jacob Hopper and junior Jacob McCarey rolled a 244 and a 181 respectively, helping put the boys 160 points in the lead at the end of the first game.

Leading the girls’ team, senior Kimberly Bell rolled the highest score in game one, 144.

Junior Leanne Moxley added on a 105 in her first game, with junior Serina Wright scoring a 104, but the girls still fell to the Wildcats.

In game two, senior Desmond King, Hopper and McCarey led the team rolling a 213, 210 and 166 respectively, putting the boys 109 points ahead of the wildcats.

For the girls, Bell and junior Aubrey Powers rolled a 128 and a 126 respectively in their second game.

Giving them a bigger advantage, the boys scored a 190 in the first Baker, a 178 in the second and a 181 in the third.

The girls scored a pin total of 333 in their Baker games, putting them 118 pins short. They lost the match, 1464-1757.

Overall, the boys dominated the Wildcats with a 2383-2106 victory.
