GO BRAVES. The team huddles up before the match against Bishop Moore.

On Monday, Sept. 23, the bowling teams took on the Bishop Moore Hornets at Colonial Lanes.

Within the first game, the boys set the tone for their opponents. Senior Dezmond King bowled the highest score of the match with a 222.

Juniors Serina Wright and Madylan Hudson led the girls team ending with a 138 and 134, respectively. Although they scored the highest of the team, it was not enough to give them a win in the first game.

Hudson, along with junior Morgan Starnes, continued to roll over 100 pins in the second and third game but they still fell short to the Hornets.

The girls’ lost, 1595-1709.

Through the boys’ second and third match, junior Jacob McCarey, and sophomores Jacob Hopper and Nolan Castor secured the most pins.

In game two, Hopper rolled two turkeys, giving him the high score of the game with a 216.

The boys finished the match 2589-2424.

Come support the Braves on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Sky Bowl as they take on the Oak Ridge Pioneers.
