On Monday, Oct. 17, the boys’ and girls’ bowling teams faced off against the Freedom Patriots at Colonial Lanes.
Both teams bowled three 10-pin games, defeating their opponents in every game they played.
To kick things off, senior Kimberly Bell bowled a 150, with Madylan Hudson rolling a 136. In the first game, the girls’ tallied a 583, 101 pins above Freedom.
For the boys, junior Darian Cabrera rolled a 198 and sophomore Jacob Hopper a 190. Senior Desmond King tacked on a 188, putting the boys 214 pins ahead.
In the second game, Hudson and junior Morgan Starnes bowled a 133 and 121, respectively. Junior Serina Wright followed closely behind with a 115, giving the girls a 590 total pin count.
Hopper and King led the team in the second game with a 190 and a 184, respectively, with Cabrera adding a 177 to their total pin count of 819.
In the final game, Wright rolled a 134 and Bell a 127. The final pin count was 1708-1411, putting them 297 pins above Freedom.
Continuing the winning streak, sophomore Nolan Castor bowled a 194, Hopper a 191 and Cabrera a 170, giving the boys a 247 pin lead over their opponents with an 870 pin total.
The boys won their match 2542-1932 overall.
Bringing the regular season to a close, the boys’ record ends at 13-1 and the girls 4-10.
