On April 12, the boys track and field team competed at the FHSAA District meet to tallying a ninth place finish.

Senior Jogimio Faustin placed ninth (11.44) in the 100 meter dash, and the boys finished seventh (45.44) the 4×100 meter.

Sophomore Anson Alexander also placed seventh (51.58) in the 400 meter dash, while freshman Jacob Hanson placed ninth (44.08) in the 300 meter hurdle.

In the 800 meter, junior Joseph Trujillo placed ninth (2:5.80), and senior Spenser Blake placed third (10:04.30) in the 3200 meter.

Running in the 4-800 meter relay, freshman Michael Moten finished strong, helping the boys earn a seventh place finish (3:36.90).

In the long jump, Faustin placed fourth overall (6.37m).

Finishing the meet, freshman Ethan Barnette placed fourth (3.20m) in pole vault.

The boys placed ninth overall in their FHSAA District meet with 40 points.

The boys 4×800 relay team will advance to the FHSAA Regional Meet on Thursday, April 27, at Flagler Palm Coast High School.
