What college do you plan to attend? “Northwestern University”
What is your intended major? “Biology.”
What other colleges accepted you? “Vanderbilt, Emory, UF, UM, Case Western Reserve and Rollins”
What sports and clubs did you participate in? “Marching band, lacrosse, SECME club, National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society.”
What was your favorite memory at Boone? “Winning the Edgewater game my junior year.”
What is your advice to incoming students? “Make connections with advisors earlier on and only invest your time in activities you care about.”
How does it feel to be recognized as an OCPS Super Scholar? “It feels validating.”
What was most exciting about receiving recognition from the Orlando Sentinel and OCPS? “Being recognized for my hard work by others”
What has been the best part about graduating? “Being done with high school”
What are you most looking forward to in college? “New friends and freedom to try whatever I want.”
If you could say something to your freshman self what would you say? “Don’t be afraid to try new things and don’t worry about what others think of you.”
