Halloween is coming up, and it is time to start buying or making decorations to impress friends.
A glowing Mason jar is a great way to light up a party, or be used as a nightlight for those too scared to sleep in the dark. They have been used to line a driveway. A new idea might be to use it to replace a candle in a jack-o’-lantern.
The glowing Mason jars are fairly easy to make, the only items needed are Mason jars and glow sticks. Often times, both can be found at the dollar store. The rest of the supplies are every-day household items. These supplies can be replaced with others that may be more common or inexpensive.
Supplies list:
- Mason jar
- Glow sticks (one medium or large is fine, but small ones need two; colors can also be mixed)
- Old newspapers
- Paper towels
- Scissors
