The Lady Braves volleyball took on the number one ranked Winter Springs Thursday, Oct. 15, ending with a loss.

The first set started with the Winter Spring Bears scoring. Sophomore Erin Carter scored the first point for the Braves to put the score at 1-4. Carter also scored two kills in a row giving the Braves a chance to catch up to th Bears, 11-19. The Lady Braves lost the first set, 14-25.

The second set was another loss for the Lady Braves. Senior Sarah Chapman scored a kill bringing the score to 8-18. Then senior Kristen Recker scored an ace, bringing the Lady Braves a score of 17-24. The Lady Braves end the set with a close loss, 18-25.

The third set was quickly tied up 1-1 a few moments into the game. Senior Jessica Dippenworth scored an ace making the score 4-8. Carter scored another ace bringing the score to 11-22.  In the end, the Lady Braves lost the third set 13-25. Concluding with an overall score of 0-3.

Carter racked up an impressive 15 kills and two aces, while Recker had a notable four digs, four kills and an ace.  This concluded the Lady Braves regular season.  They finished 17-8.
