On Sept. 9, the girls swim team blew the Edgewater Eagles out of the water.
The night started with juniors Victoria Pratt, Cardinal Hastings and Grace Easterling with sophomore Valerie Campanalie swimming the 200 medley relay. They placed first at 2:01. They also received first in their individual races.
In the 200 freestyle Campanalie won the race, finishing in 2:12:12 and took first in the 100 butterfly, 1:05:54. Hastings placed first in the 200 individual medley, 2:39:53.
Easterling and Pratt stole the show, both winning first in two individual races. Easterling swam the 50 freestyle in 26:62 and the 100 freestyle in 50:06. In the 500/400 freestyle Pratt swam a 5:27:60 and swam the 100 backstroke in 1:04:31.
In the 50 freestyle, sophomore Chloe Conyers placed second, 29:47, as well as in the 100 backstroke, 1:21:81. Conyers and sophomores Eleanor McDonald and Grace McGee along with junior Grace Easterling took first in the 200 free relay, 1:54:05.
The Lady Braves swim team beat Edgewater, 121-50. Come and support them at the next meet against Timber Creek on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Wadeview Pool.
